This guide will show you how to fold a square piece of paper into an envelope with the flap tucked into a diamond shaped pocket

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
1 square sheet of paper

Place the paper with the points at the top, bottom and sides.

Fold it in half by bringing the bottom point up to the top point.

Result
You can measure the bottom of the triangle and fold each side 1/3 of the way or
Bring the right bottom point to the left side.
and crease when their bottom edges are equal length.

Result

Bring the bottom right point of the flap to the left edge to fold it in half.

Result.

Insert your finger under the top layer of the fold you just made in the last step.
Push it to the right until you get to the crease .

Squash the point straight up and press down to flatten.

Bring the top point down and insert it into the pocket.

Push it in as far as it will go and crease the top.
Your origami envelope is finished!
